The goal of this patio was to bring the inside out, complementing Cindy Stumpo’s exterior design. The patio covered the entire length of the rear elevation, so we created three different areas for seating and entertaining in order to organize the space.
The kitchen doors led to the family-style dining table, allowing a natural transition to dining outdoors. From the great room, we created a lounging area with a fire pit, lanterns, and swivel chairs. The main hallway led out onto second lounge area with two cozy, oversized sofas.
A color theory of burgundy, black, and cream brought out the limestone flooring and Pella windows. Restoration Hardware planters designed and planted by Rouvalis Flowers completed the area.
